/* ============================================================
   landing-flow6.css, OPTION 6's CONTINUOUS BACKGROUND.

One job: make the four folds read as ONE field of colour rather than as
three coloured sections with dark gaps between them.

WHAT WAS WRONG, measured down the left edge of the rendered page:

     y 1024 to 2048 rgb(20,21,25) +0 +0 +0 a full screen, perfectly flat
     y 2112 rgb(26,23,36) +6 +2 +11 purple starting, abruptly
y 3008 rgb(20,21,25) all the way back to neutral

Every section was painting a ramp that STARTED and ENDED on #141519. That
guarantees no hard edge, which is why it passed the first look, but it also
guarantees something worse: a dead plateau between each pair, and a colour
that has to climb from nothing every time. The page read as dark, then a
purple blob, then dark, then a teal blob, then dark. Three events with air
   between them.

WHAT IT IS NOW: one journey. Each fold BEGINS on the exact colour the fold
above it ended on, and the colour never stops moving. There is no plateau
anywhere between the hero's floor and the foot of the page, and no fold
returns to neutral except the last one, which has a page end to meet.

hero floor #141519 the ground the hero already fades into
fold 2 #141519 drifting to #1a1830, so the purple is ARRIVING
across the whole Investigation fold rather than
switching on at its bottom edge
fold 3 #1a1830 up through the purple and down to #171b2a, which is
                           already leaning toward the sea
fold 4 #171b2a into the deep sea and out to #141519 at the foot

Matched endpoints make it continuous; matched RATES at each join make it
invisible, which is the part that was missing. The stops near a boundary
are spaced so the colour is moving at roughly the same speed on both sides
of it, so there is no kink where one gradient hands to the next.

SCOPED TO OPTION 6. Option 2 shares the Data Intelligence fold, and its own
page still ends there, so it keeps the ramp that returns to neutral.

This file loads last, which is what lets it override the three sections'
own backgrounds without editing any of them.

jump of +5 +2 +7 in one pixel. The ramps were not the problem, these
were. Centred at 36% with a 56% radius, this wash still had about a fifth
of its strength at the section's first row, so the purple appeared
instantly at the boundary no matter how well the ramps matched.

Centre and radius are now chosen so each wash is spent before either
       edge: 40% ± 38% and 60% ± 32% both land inside 0 to 100. The light is in
